What we do

Designed for you, hand-made to order.

From the first in-home appointment to the final handle, Turnwell handles the whole kitchen — shaker and in-frame design, hand-made manufacturing across three cabinet tiers, worktops, appliances, sinks, taps and hardware, and a fitted installation backed by a one-year workmanship warranty, for homes across West Sussex and Hampshire.

01

Shaker Kitchen Design & Supply

The shaker kitchen is our heartland. We design and supply seventeen hand-made shaker door styles — Belgravia, Berkeley, Branscombe, Canfold, Claremont, Crantock, Farrelly, Farrington, Hartland, Milford, Sandford, Saunton, Sherbourne, Swanson, Tortworth, Wembury and Windsor — so there's a proportion and detail to suit everything from a period cottage to a new-build extension. Choose from more than forty frontal colours and over twenty-five carcass colours to make it genuinely yours, all hand-made to order and planned around how you actually use the room.

02

In-Frame Kitchen Design & Supply

For the most traditional look of all, our in-frame kitchens set each door and drawer within a solid frame — the hallmark of proper cabinet-making. We offer ten in-frame configurations across the Heritage, Milford, Saunton, Swanson and Windsor styles, in either a Classic or a Beaded frame variant, and finished in natural timber or hand-painted to your chosen colour. It's a made-to-measure, bespoke option for homeowners who want a kitchen built the way kitchens used to be built.

03

Bespoke Kitchen Design

Every Turnwell kitchen begins with a free in-home design appointment: a designer comes to you, measures the room and listens to how you live in it. That survey becomes a set of proper CAD layouts, refined with you until the plan is right, then manufactured to 0.1mm CNC precision so what you signed off is exactly what turns up. It's a genuinely bespoke, made-to-measure service — no forcing your space to fit a standard carcass — backed by the design discipline our founders brought from the national brands.

04

Kitchen Installation

A kitchen is only as good as its fit, so we install with our own in-house teams rather than a rotating crew of subcontractors. Ross and the installation team coordinate deliveries and fitters so the job runs cleanly and to schedule, with the trades sequenced properly and the site left tidy. Every installation is backed by a one-year workmanship warranty — so if anything needs attention after the fit, it's our name on it.

05

Appliances — Supply & Integration

The right appliances make a kitchen work day to day, so we supply and integrate them as part of the design rather than an afterthought. We work with Neff, Siemens, Bosch, Bora, Miele, Fisher & Paykel, Fulgor Milano and Caple — ovens, induction and downdraught hobs, extraction, fridges, dishwashers and more — specified around how you cook and built cleanly into the cabinetry so everything lands and works together on day one.

06

Worktops & Surfaces — Supply

Worktops make or break a kitchen, both to look at and to live with. We supply a full range of premium surfaces — Neolith, Silestone, Dekton, Laminam, Cosy Stone and Infinity — from hard-wearing sintered stone to engineered quartz, and talk you through what each is like to cook on, clean and live with. Everything is templated and fitted to sit flush with the cabinetry, so the finished run reads as one considered piece.

07

Sinks & Taps — Supply

The sink and tap are the parts of a kitchen you touch most, so we specify them with care. We supply Quooker boiling-water taps, Shaws of Darwen fireclay butler sinks, the 1810 Company and Caple — whether you want a period-perfect Belfast sink for a traditional shaker kitchen or a single-tap solution that delivers boiling, chilled and sparkling water on demand. Chosen alongside the worktops so finishes and cut-outs are coordinated into one clean design.

08

Hardware & Handles — Supply

The handles are the jewellery of a kitchen — a small detail that sets the whole tone. We supply hardware from Crofts & Assinder, Barchester, Langham, Bidbury & Co, Montreal and Harrington, from aged-brass cup pulls and knobs for a traditional shaker to cleaner bar handles for a more contemporary in-frame. Your designer helps you pick a finish that ties the doors, worktops and taps together rather than fighting them.

Showroom Consultations & Brochures

Sometimes the best place to start is simply seeing and touching real kitchens. We offer free consultations at our showrooms in Chichester, Romsey, Petersfield and Whiteley, where you can handle the door styles, compare the frontal and carcass colours, and see worktops and appliances set into full kitchen displays. Prefer to browse at home first? Request a brochure and take your time — there's no pressure to decide on the spot.

See it before you decide. Visit our Chichester showroom on Crane Street to handle the door styles, colours and worktops in the flesh — Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5pm, Saturday by appointment. Further showrooms in Romsey, Petersfield and Whiteley.
